INTRODUCTION TO SCHEDULED WASTE MANAGEMENT
Using the concept of environmental pollution from the view of toxic waste management, this training improves audience awareness of environment protection. Scheduled wastes are extremely toxic and hazardous to both human health and the environment. The improper management of waste will be labelled as a “non-compliance” or an illegal disposal case.
In order to improve eco-efficiency and lower hazards to people and the environment, cleaner manufacturing is the ongoing use of an integrated preventative environmental strategy.
Cleaner production (CP) projects led to the implementation of environmental management programmes. An analysis of these programmes reveals that they provide management and staff with systematic tools to reduce their adverse environmental effects, save money from the inefficient use of resources like energy and materials, and inspire the organisation by bringing awareness to all levels of the organisation. These CP management strategies seek to:
- The productivity of the materials.
- Consumption of less energy.
- Management of material flow.
- Environmental protection that is proactive.
- Sustainable usage of natural resources.
- Legal compliance to the scheduled wastes rules of 2005.
The Scheduled Wastes Rules of 2005, special management of scheduled waste, and classification, transportation, and disposal of scheduled wastes will all be better understood by participants. Businesses should use this chance to explain any difficulties during the training session.
All participants will leave this programme with the confidence necessary to evaluate, practise, and suggest improvements to the overall Scheduled Wastes Minimization through CP initiatives at their place of employment.
